Messing up and the Monday Syndrome

It's a new year and way to go if you are trying to be a healthier you.  The truth of the matter, though, is that no matter what time of year, what day of the week, or what time of the day, it's always a good time to make healthy decisions.  There is danger in the "I'll start on Monday..." mentality, so beware.  Health is NOT an all or nothing deal, so while you are working on your New Year's resolutions, know that "messing up" will likely happen.  What you do after the mess-up is what creates a healthier you.

If you are the type of person who will completely backslide on healthy living just because of one peanut butter cup, then you may want to entertain the thought that there are deeper issues involved than just weight management.

I've been there and done that, and it is not a fun way to live.  More on this next time.
