The End

I have recently witnessed a loved one's final breaths.  There is an end for all of us.  Many of us think it is a distant moment, but the fact is, we don't know when it is going to be.  It could be a long, drawn out process, or it might happen in an unexpected instant.  Either way, experiencing a loved one pass from one world to the next makes you think about things other than calories and treadmills.

So here is my health challenge of the day:  think about the end.  It is real, and it will come.  When your life is over, what will the story tell?  It is a healthy thing to think about death, for what you think about death is often telling of how you live your life.

For God so LOVED the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  -John 3:16
