One year ago, I wrote about my feelings on resolutions and diets--both of which are big topics with the new year coming. I encouraged my readers to think of it more in terms of problems and solutions. I identified clutter as a problem in my life and decided that throughout the year I would aim to make choices that would help "resolve" this problem. 2 days later after I posted that post, I found out I was pregnant. So, as I reflect on this past year, did I manage to de-clutter my life? Hah. Having a de-cluttered home with 2 kids under 2 is kind of an oxy-moron in my world.
However, there are ways that I tried to simplify my house, my food, and my beauty regimen. Right now, I will share with you some of my favorite simple food products (that come in a package):
- Sargento string cheese
- Breyer's vanilla bean ice cream
- Triscuits
- Daisy sour cream and cottage cheese
- Larabars
- Fruit pouches--mainly for babies and kids, but they make some for adults too:-)
- Raisins
- Fage plain yogurt
- Green Tea
The less ingredients there are on the package, the better! Think about ways you can simplify in 2013. I will continue to work towards simplifying my life in 2013, and will also write another post on a new problem and solution that I will be working on in the next year.
Hint: I will be referencing this fabulous book that I just received as a Christmas gift.
By the way, 2012 has been a good blogging year. Thank you for your support and encouragement. This is my 100th post and it's people like you who have helped motivate me to write. E-mail me at emilygrenier@gmail.com by 1-1-13 telling me about a way that you have been healthy in 2012 and your name will be entered to win a copy of the above book.
